Well this past Saturday is was raining with an East wind so we ended up in a tiny shooting house and only brought his gun. We ended up seeing a stud zoo daddy 6pt but my son was not able to get a shot, we also saw 8 or 10 does. We made the call to come back tot he same stand the next afternoon, and ended up seeing nothing. So for my sons sake I would like to have one more weekend so he can shoot at least another doe. But we will start on trapping coons and stabbing hogs soon so its all good.

I was out on the season, then I got pulled back in, but damnit if I didn't see anything but does the last two times I've gone. I've really not had a shot , or even a look, at a decent buck since back on dec 6 and that was bow hunting on public. That's pretty amazing to me considering the kind of effort I put into managing my little piece of property. Put me out of my misery and bring on turkey season.
