I'm with F150 on this. Went there Saturday for the first time.
Over crowded
Average brisket sammich.
Just a big tourist trap IMHO. Do they have mimosas?

What does this gas station have that makes it so appealing. Does it actually have any quality items or just a bunch of cheap junk. I just can’t imagine it being anything but a big gas station. I mean unless they have hunting/fishing supplies or tools or something what could they possibly have. Like I said never even seen one so maybe I missing it. Carry more hunting gear than the chitty basspro 😃

They do have hunting and fishing clothes, grills, deer feeders, old school fuel containers without all the EPA BS, and a bunch more. All at a very fair price. Food is outstanding for a gas station, but nothing like a real restaurant. The appeal to me when I'm travelling is knowing it's decent food, really clean bathrooms, reasonably priced fuel, and really polite employees. That happens when people are paid very well. Saw the sign on the fuel pumps. They pay cashiers $15+ per hour, with insurance and 401K available. It is a very well run operation. I have a number of Texas friends who have nothing but good things to say about the family that owns it also.

It’s a gas station...... a fancy gas station. Guy at work brought 2 kinds of salsa and some pickled garlic to work and it was pretty dang good. I won’t make a special trip but I’ll swing in when it’s convenient. This^^^^^^^^^^ Damn if some grown men don't sound like a bunch of old women lmao 🤣🤣🤣

I got a brisket sandwich in Leeds yesterday. It was OK, but not near as good as the one by the beach. Their brisket is excellent down there.

If they dont sell Creedmores then they suck, but clean rest rooms and good enough food are appreciated when you are traveling.

I've been three times since they opened. I would rather spend $10 in Bucee's than $8 at any other fast food joint. I'd have sure went there tonight instead of Arby's (that did away with apple turn overs and the only reason I go there) and didn't even get any napkins in the sack. There coffee is good too. But the Texas Pecan hot chocolate drink is addicting. I'm in Moody most weekends so it will be a regular stop for me. Can't wait till they get the one built in Athens. I've heard the one's around the coast really come through when the hurricaines hit. They have their own generator and gas delivery so they were the only place open when those folks needed it.

I live in Odenville and visited Buc-ee's the day it opened. I do not understand how these people around here are acting about this place and the bbq. I wished they would get excited about a few of the BBQ restaurants around here and spend some of their money there to support a small business. The brisket sandwich was OK at best, and was worse than our worst BBQ restaurant around here. I was more impressed by their firepits, smokers and their general efficiency more than anything. Best brisket in Alabama is in Odenville, AL at Charlie's BBQ. IMO. I try to get up there every couple of weeks for brisket day. It's worth the drive from Bham.
