Trying a spot I haven’t been to this year. Set up in a small opening in thick stuff on the backside of an old grown up road bed. The longest shot is 20 yards, gonna have to hope the deer walk in one of my openings. There’s plenty of green browse and 2 big red oaks and a few water oaks.

Moved spots to the edge of a slough full of water. There’s 50 yards of thick stuff to my left that joins 2 yo planted pines. 2 trails intersect where I climbed, one in the edge of the slough and one coming from the pines. Climbed 25 ft up, got set only to realize my quiver was missing, had to climb back down to recover it. Set now just waiting on the action to happen.
