I am not seeing any kind of chasing, really any activity in general, it seems after Christmas the activity has dropped off. Anyone south of Andalusia having any luck?

Started hunting down here this year after father bought his “retirement” farm and everyone said end of January was the rut, but I’m starting to think they were full of it. I’m from Pensacola but have hunted Barbour county most of my life, it’s definitely been tough hunting an area i know nothing about. I never really saw any chasing really, but the neighbors seem to be blasting them everyday so I’m starting to think they just won’t come out due to high pressure.

It’s still happening around the places I hunt. Saw 3 bucks chasing a die this morning.

I videod a 3.5 year old 8 point dogging a doe yesterday afternoon. They slowed down for a couple days when it got hot but seem to be picking back up. What I am seeing in person vs pics at feeders is 180 degrees different they are still moving.
