I cut the leg area like I am going to hang him to gut, I run a rope through both legs and out to me, I wind the rope up on a sturdy stick, then I put the stick horizontal to my waist and start walking. Rear or front legs? Rear Your pullin against the grain of the hair. Makes it harder.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

The suspension relief strap that came with my HSS safety harness doubles as a deer drag. It has a small carabiner at one end and I just connect it to the loop on the back of the harness. Works great. ^^^ THIS. Works great for me if I cannot drive to them.

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

I guess I’ve got a Glen’s Deer Handle. I didn’t know it was called that. I like getting a vehicle close to them though.

Rear or front legs? Rear Your pullin against the grain of the hair. Makes it harder. . It may be a little resistance, but I'm not much into the horns tripping me, I've had that happen. I can see it both ways, the horns can get caught on stuff dragging with a head down and dragging from the rear legs.
