After reading the thread a week or so ago about this....I actually found a mylar balloon dead in the center of one of our corn fields. Awful odd place for a buck to bed since we have a 120acre thick and nasty cutover 1000 yards down the property.

I obviously missed the recent other thread about this, I tried looking to make sure it wasn’t something recently brought up, oh well.
Whether there’s something to it or it’s all horse crap, I thought it was an interesting subject. It's something I'll pay attention to now. Just for the heck of it, if nothing else.

The more I watch The Hunting Beast the more I think he’s full of it.

Wow this is crazy. Climbed my stand this morning as it was breaking day I could see two round figures in the thicket. As it got lighter sure enough it was some damn pink and purple balloons, then I seen this post. What’s the odds !!! Would post pics but that’s like an act of Congress.

The more I watch The Hunting Beast the more I think he’s full of it. He is if he thinks where stray balloons land magically mark buck bedding spots.

If he's a Mid-West woodlot hunter , those deer don't have a lot of cover , much of their woods aren't very thick. They plop down just about anywhere , like a stray balloon. Many years ago I came to the conclusion much of the stuff you see on TV and read that is done in the Mid-West will not work in the top right corner of Alabama. The absolute biggest is " just hunt the wind."

I’ve got a spot that I have found balloons 3 times. Same spot within 100 ft. Never seen a deer bed there
Don't blame me for your bad decision-
