Any chance anyone has a 20 gauge Benelli Nova they would be willing to part with? My girls have started squirrel hunting and I would like to find a pump shotgun. I know it’s a bad time to try and find a shotgun but worth a shot. We have been using my dove gun but it’s an automatic and I rather have a pump for hunting with a dog so I can load it but not chamber a round.

Anyways if anyone has one or runs across one could you let me know. I have looked on gunbroker to no avail.

Sorry I can't help Shotts but I have never hunted with dogs, why would you not want a round in the chamber?

Hunting with kids, the kid may shoot the dog before fully thinking out taking a shot

Exactly! Mine have had gun safety drilled into them but having to pump a round into the gun keeps it little safer when walking through the woods to a treed dog in my opinion.

This seems to be the best way I have found to get kids interested in hunting my girls beg to go anytime we can which makes me smile every-time.

10-4. Makes sense. I was thinking from the wrong angle.
