With rain approaching I opted for a shooting house gonna try to set all day. Good luck fellas That is my plan as well. Trying a different stand. Generally the least productive, but since my other 2 stands have produced nothing since Saturday, thought this might be a change up.

Shooting house across the street for a little while. Ran two off the pasture walking in. Going to go look for a buck that someone shot at last night behind me, and they lost blood on my place( asked for permission) Had someone from Tallassee contact me about a track last night.....Told them it would be this morning before I could come out and I never heard back from them.....Don't know if it was the same person or not

Does and little ones been feeding since daylight That’s where I’m at This is the slowest I've seen it in a while.......Not much happening here right now. Lots of little ones starting to feed around by themselves A year ago tomorrow is when I shot at the big one and hit a tree. The first pics I got of him were on the 20th He was searching the day I missed him. I ended up killing him on the 25th trailing a doe.

It seems that way but what is most likely happening at the front end of the rut is that all the bucks are concentrated in a few locations where the few hots does are located…..If you’re lucky enough to be where that’s happening then it can be magical…..Its the stories you hear guys telling about seeing 5+ bucks on one doe……That’s what has been happening over the last week or so. It’s only when the peak occurs that the bucks get really spread out and things seem to be on fire everywhere……That should be starting to happen any day now.

After they replanted my pines, my doe sightings went to nil. Before the replant I would generally see 3-6 does per sit. On any stand. Now I’m lucky to see one.
