Irishguy or any of you really...can anyone share a ramen recipe? I'm willing to try anything - to include making noodles from scratch. We've had a few great bowls here in Colorado Springs, but perhaps someone else has something they can share. Look forward to hearing from you.

Ramen is one of those beautiful things that you really can do anything to it and it's great. When we are feeling fancy we get the ramen noodles from the asian market (not the instant stuff). Tend to just cook the noodles in a chicken, beef, or pork broth. Experiment with different toppings in the bowl. We like thin sliced pork cooked in a skillet, scallions, seaweed, and I always put in a soft boiled egg (usually 2-3). All that works with the instant noodles too, they just aren't quite as good.

After 20 years I found something that really changed them for me. Finally found out there was a flavor packet in the package

On a similar note. Nothing but noodles has a potsticker soup that is really good!

Had some legit Ramen the other night that came up short. The pork was tough and the broth seemed weak. Almost certain I can do better at home. The sushi was fantastic though. Will order more of that.
