I use a 130 grain Federal Game King Sierra Boat Tail. They’re are getting harder and harder to find but I’ve had great success for years with them.

Same here, B...shot it well out of my Handi and had (still have) great confidence in the 140gr Interlock BTSP I have in storage. I wish they hadn’t discontinued the Custom line and replaced it with the American Whitetail line. I swapped to .444/.308 before they discontinued the Custom line, but have heard mixed reviews on the Whitetail line. Same with the Superformance line, but I had experience shooting both it and the older Light Mag line ..the older performed better in my .270 (same in .308..LightMag shot better than Superformance that replaced it). The 145gr ELD makes me want to pull it out of the back of the closet and dust it off to try them out!

130gr Remington Core-lokt out of a 270 has killed most of my deer. Couple of bow kills, a slug, a muzzleloader and a 308.

I've got an older 700adl in 270 that loves off the shelf 130gr core-lokt. Will group 5 rounds .991" at 100yrds. It loves a 145hr eld-x handload and throws 5 at .490". Deer have dropped to both rounds.

i love them 140 grain interlock btsp in the brown box. Luckily i bought about 5 boxes shortly after they discontinued them. before that though i had good luck with the 150 grain core locks. The only reason i tried something different was because some of the stands had long shots on the ag fields and i wanted something a little more aero dynamic (the 150 grain core lock is kind of round nosed).

If I’m going to shoot a 6.5 I’m going to shoot the 26 Nosler

Might as well shoot the beast of them.

I hunted with a lot of different calibers, but I always go back to my old Styer safe bolt in 270, she likes Hornady 140’s. Started with the old customs like donia, and followed Hornadys changes up or down to the American whitetail.

It's not rocket science but the Creed crowd can't understand that the 264 win mag can push the same bullets 300 FPS faster than the exalted Gheymoor.

The ones you loaded for me are closer to 500 FPS past the exalted gheymoor.
