I love the regular 270 super x ammo. Can't stand the ballistic ones. Terrible in brush and timber.
Too bad most people disagree and they stopped making the regular ones. i have 4 shells of these left.. ive shot them for the last 13 years and evey deer hit dropped. i got lucky and scored 200 rounds of federal classic 130 grn with the sierra game king tips for $150..00

I bought some off a couple sights about a month ago, then went into a store here in Montgomery and bought 5 boxes, all in 300 Win. Mag. I love the ballistic silver tips, they are fine for me at ranges out to 575, which is the farthest I have killed one. Most of the time it is less than 150 yards or less. They do mess up some meat on those front shoulders.
