Stephen was a little ill cause that’s the second 8 he’s been hunting and was shot while he was in the stand a couple hundred yds away. Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I had to drive all the way to the other side of the club to put her where she wanted to go. When we got there she wanted the buddy heater but couldn’t carry it with all her stuff, so I got out the truck and carried the heater to her shooting house and up the steps, well she came up the ladder behind me, and when I opened the door i was surprised by 3 flying squirrels, I keep a stick in there so I grabbed the stick, and was trying to run them out, well my daughter had made it up on the deck and was standing by the open door, I took the stick a gently flicked one of the squirrels out the open door, it so happens that it glided and landed on her.lol She about had a heart attack so I had to calm her down. Ok so no more squirrels they are all gone I put the heater in the house and light it for her. Then I head back across the property to a my lockon which is on a loggin road between 2 hardwood bottoms. 7:15 am I had made it to my stand. Got there and didn’t like the wind, so 100 yds down the road is a ladder stand I can see from my lockon, the wind would be better there for what I am wanting to watch. I get down and go to the ladder and it is not in the best of shape. Then the sun comes out and blinds me, so I get down and walk back to the lockon. Get in and my buddy text me and said he hasn’t seen anything, I told him late morning is what I am seeing on my cameras. Well at 9:40 a doe comes busting across the loggin road skint back. I pulled up my rifle and concentrated on where she came out and at 9:44 he walked into the cross hairs, double lunged him at 50 yds Last edited by hopper35005; 01/04/21 03:56 PM.
