Im getting back at it. Real hunting that is. Scouting for sign and climbing trees again. Been spoiled on some flat land with ag fields
That had shooting houses everywhere for several years. Lost the lease due to land owner passing away, so got back in the club mid-season I was in before, there are greenfields and shooting houses there too... But I always enjoyed scouting in the woods and "earning" the deer I killed. I'm more excited about
Hunting than I have been in a long time.
Any of yall ever get tired of hunting the same fields all the time, even though you know you will see deer in them on a regular basis?

P.S. I also recently started hanging out reading yalls posts on Aldeer again. I'll be around more often. I rekon everything goes in cycles.

It does help to have different stand locations. Sitting in the same spot over and over again does get monotonous.

It be's that way sometimes.

I like both.If I am feeling lazy, want to watch deer and possibly have a shot at a good one I sit a greenfield in my very nice new shooting house although non of my stands overlook just the field. Most also have shooting lanes cut through thick stuff around plot so I am watching trails also. If I feel like hunting mostly for a good buck I go into the woods and sit a great creek crossing where I have shot my last two bucks and watched three great chases

On a lot of leases in Florida, you pay for a stand. As in thats where you sit, every time you hunt.
OMG, thats like a torture if you ask me. I get tired of hunting the same areas all the time and have
to head to another state for different animals periodically. I cant imagine hunting the same stand/place/lease all the time.

Very rarely do I sit on a greenfield. Stay in the woods and never sit in the same place twice.
