I need a new pull behind spreader.

I know it's been discussed before, but my search didn't turn up anything.

My main requirements are a wide wheel base to prevent turning over, and at least a 150lb capacity

What are my best options?

Darrel Harp Enterprises out of Red Bay makes a great one that I have. In theory it'll hold like 500 lbs. https://darrellharp.com

If you live near an Auburn University Extension Center, some of them let you use one that holds way more than what you are looking for and do not charge to use it.
I got one from an extension center last summer, kelp it for 2 days. I pulled it with a 550 cc ATV and put out over two thousand lbs. of lime on green fields. You will need a trailer to take it from center to your property. You can not pull it on a paved road. Great deal for 0 cost. Had lime dumped on property and filled spreader with shovels.

I bought one like that and the lady told me someone pulled it on the highway and it disintegrated. Anyone with half a brain would know not to pull a spreader with 9” wheels anywhere paved.
