Well now, based on the pic you can't see 13 scoreable points but I can sure see the mass. That one point on the deers right side looks like it just shoots right out of the main beam, stange. I would love to see some other angles and a body shot of the deer. How much did he weigh if you know. Any pics in velvet early on?

Best way to avoid an opinion on a score is never post a score to begin with. twocents

Not sure of the weight or pics. I agree, you can't score a deer by looking at a pic.

I wasn't trying to score the picture.
It just doesn't look as big as the other buck, killed there, a couple of weeks ago.
If you posted two pictures, of a 157 and a 162, side by side, I probably couldn't tell the difference.

You seem to know a lot about this deer, Jeremy, and the area. Tell us what you know.

Your right you don't know much.... That deer had 13 scorable points. Thats what had started conflicts on here before, people thinking they can score deer by a pic. Are you blind? Do you not see all the mass? That deer is easily 20 inches wide (total).. Ya'll make this site sick, it isn't a damn contest on who can score deer better or who is lying about how much a deer scores. People put their pics on here for you to see, not to post a stupid comment.

You need to chill out.

I admitted I don't know anything about scoring. I really don't give a chit about scoring a deer, either, or the ego that goes with it. Big whoop.

I'm not blind. I can see that it's 20 inches wide. That's why I asked about the mass, because w/ my limited knowledge about scoring it would seem to need more mass to achieve 164 with its smaller width.

It's a nice buck, whether it scores 164 or 16.4 or 1,640. Congrats to the hunter. All I did was ask a simple question. Lighten up.

Why? Because you're the best scorer in the entire universe?

This site, and other sites about anything, have people with opinions, questions, doubts, agreements and other ideas.

I guarantee if you took that rack to a coffee shop, put it on the counter and said "This scores 164" there would be people who say, "Really? How? That isn't too wide." or would have other doubts or might just simply be curious.

If you don't like the fact that someone (a) makes a simple comment with no judgement but is curious or (b) does happen to disagree ... then learn to deal with it.

Just because you say it scores X amount doesn't mean everyone has to take that for the gospel.

It's a very nice buck. Congrats to the hunter.

CBG,

Did Jeremy kill that deer on his 40 acres where his chicken houses or Don's club land?

Did i say that i was the best scorer? Did i post a score that i guess upon? Hell no you idiot. If the sob's walk into my coffee shop and question my deer in my own shop after i told them what it scored then i would piss in their coffee. The world is full of lies so people don't believe what someone tells them. laugh

Are you questioning my friendship with Jeremy, who cares where he killed the deer. How long have you known him, how do you know him, whats his mamas name, whats his daddy's name, where did he grow up, how long has he had chicken houses, how many does he have, who did his sister marry, where does his grandparents live, blah, blah, blah.lkjalskdjoliajsdlkjalksjdlkq

Daummm, ya'll get in a panty twister mighty fast... :p

observations.....
1. thats a damn fine buck, congrats to Jeremy
2. it will easy score 164
3. most of the wannabe's on here wouldn't know a 164 from a 140 or a 180 eek
4. Clem, get off the width chit, it's the least important number in scoring....

My very first thing I said was "I don't know much about ..."

Never challenged the rack, never said it didn't measure 164 or whatever the hell it measures. I also wasn't the only one who said the photo didn't do it justice.

Nice buck. He'll look good on the dude's wall.

Why are you so upset?

Did you think that you were the only one who knows who Jeremy is on this site?

I simply asked a question to you, the resident expert on this deer, where the deer came from. I can make a phone call and find out without a problem. I just figured I would ask you since you seem to know so much about Jeremy and his deer.

You should really calm down about who knows how to score a deer and who doesn't know how to score a deer on this site.
