Make damn sure the detergent you wash your hunting clothes in does not have any UV brightners in it.

ASAT leafy suit. You'll never been seen by a deer again.

lol

Killed several straight out of work in blue jeans and street shirts.. little cover scent though

No cover scent needed with a proper stand set up and correct wind.

I agree with Matt on the 4 lone wolf stick issue, you generally can't get high enough with that set up to avoid getting picked off. I use 5 lone wolf sticks in my hang and hunt set up. Sometimes I'll use 2-3 EZ Climb screw in steps with the LW sticks as well. For stands that I put up and leave up throughout the season I use the millenium sticks. They're 20' and you can get a set for around 70 bucks.

The higher you get the more moving around you can get away with. Sure you can find a tree with plenty of cover and hunt lower, but if it ain't where you need to be then you'll be out of the game.

If you decide to get higher in the tree be sure and practice a few shots at that height. The kill zone is smaller and you'll probably need to aim a little lower.

Other than that stay clean, approach your stand from downwind and don't hunt a stand if the wind isn't right for it.

And a lot of people don’t get to hunt deer that have the option of being uneducated. All I’m saying is it’s not as easy as you regularly make it out. You have good land and it allows you some luxuries that some don’t have. I do okay and I have been on both sides of the coin. Some properties you do as much as you can right and the next guy doesn’t and completely screws it up for everybody. In that case it can be very difficult. Go hunt on some of these clubs and then see if you’d make the same post

Yea Twaldrop - I hav hunted clubs most of my life - and I hav had some great hunts but by and large it can be very hard - lot of times a lot of the members don’t hunt the right wind and you can’t be a dick and tell them they can’t do that - they paid there money and u just hav to get along or grin and Bear it.

Very fortunate to finally find a few places that I control The pressure on

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self
We need prayer for our country now more than ever

I have hunted all over the state in clubs, neighborhoods, small tracts, big tracts, public etc. On public people make deer seem smart by all the dumb stuff they do, which spooks the few deer that are there to begin with. however if you go to public ground (likely out of state) the deer are not any smarter than they are on a club here. Just watch the hunting public videos, half the deer they kill while they are walking around with a bow and a cameraman. I dont care what ground you hunt or I hunt, the same principals hold true. Hunt where there are deer. Hunt with the right wind and you will be successful, hunt marginal or bad winds and you will not. A deer is a deer none of theor brains are larger because of what land they live on if they were they would walk until they found a safer place to live.

Originally you said easy now you say successful. Sometimes success doesn’t come easy. That’s all I’m saying. It’s easy to say it’s easy when you have a nice setup. But when don’t have control then easy can easily go out the window. You can’t control people on large leases/ public land so therefore you can’t control the education level of deer. And public land out of state usually don’t have 3 month rifle seasons with liberal limits so those deer get way less pressure. I my opinion comparing public land here and public land out of state is apples and oranges.
