I know it has been posted before, but it never gets old for me. Tribute to Tom Kelly. One who describes turkey hunting as many of us know it.

I guess you have to copy and paste the link. It takes you to Mossy Oak Go.

There’s absolutely no telling how many times I’ve listened to it.
Have to be honest- Tom Kelly can get a little long winded for me, but Afternoon on the Handles is spot on.

I like Tom Kelly’s stories, and this was one of his good ones.
My wife just bought me “Dealer’s Choice” and “Better On A Rising Tide” and I’m looking forward to reading them.

We were talking one day about gobblers hanging up on us. He told me if that turkey wants to come he's coming and if he doesn't want to come nothing short of the will of God can make him.

He was a serious turkey hunter and story teller too.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I know who he was. What in the heck does mentioning him have to do with Tom Kelly or “Afternoon on the Handles”?

I thought maybe I missed part of the story that had something significant to do with him.

Love that story and I knew Jim Andrews well. Fabulous tribute. Tom Kelly is the best.
