Setup in a oak flat bottom next to a creek, occasional gust but otherwise calm, acorns dropping and the tree rats cutting the fool. Hopefully a deer will come on by for breakfast. I smoked the black one at 30ish yards. I couldn’t help but get down and look so I shimmied down and found it piled up +-50 yards away. Decent size male. Back up in the tree now. So - fun fact - I’ve got only three bow kills under my belt, but three different critters. 1st was a bobcat in 2014, then a doe the next year, then the yote today. Praise God above for fun mornings like this.
