With all of the talk about drumming, do you guys hear that same base tone underneath a gobble when up real close? Sometimes people refer to it as "chest rattling", but it does sound like it has to be coming from the same place as the drumming noise. Just curious?

Correction that should've read "drumming music" instead of "drumming noise". My apologies.

I hear it, sometimes its sounds exaclty like a drum if they are in the right spot.

How about the in and out of the drum? Can anyone hear the drum going in and out. Louder and softer??

I hear it when they get really close.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

That's a good thought. I hear both, thank goodness!

That is strange because yea I know what your talking about when they're gobbling close. I've heard that several times. I've always heard it called their chest rattling too

I can hear their chest rattle at the end of the gobble but can't hear drumming. I have raised a bunch of tame turkeys and can hear them spit but not the drum.
