Scott4Hunting 10 point Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 3,911 Ranburne, AL	Our back deck gets a lot of direct sunlight which is brutal on wood. We rebuilt it with composite decking a couple years ago. Pricey but I shouldn’t have to do it again. Make sure you use composite decking screws to keep it from bubbling up the holes as you put it down.

SwampHunter 10 point S Joined: Apr 2000 Posts: 3,696 Camden, AL	If it gets a lot of sun, composite decking is cheaper in the long run. I have 3 decks. Two are composite, one is wood. I'm about to have to replace the wood again and I wish I had gone composite.
