I was just giving your dumbass a hard time. I have a composite deck. There is no way I’d build a deck with pine decking. Composite or Ipe is all I would use.

Our back deck gets a lot of direct sunlight which is brutal on wood. We rebuilt it with composite decking a couple years ago. Pricey but I shouldn’t have to do it again. Make sure you use composite decking screws to keep it from bubbling up the holes as you put it down.

If it gets a lot of sun, composite decking is cheaper in the long run. I have 3 decks. Two are composite, one is wood. I'm about to have to replace the wood again and I wish I had gone composite.

that gives me a good ideal to put composite lumber on my trailer. that trailer lumber seems to rot faster than anything
I hadn't thought of using composite on my trailer... shocked That does sound like a great idea if it will hold up, Know anybody that has tried this?
