Tell me the good the bad and the ugly. I won’t use it very much at all. Basically want a plan B to keep freezers running if power goes out.

Can't help ya with the brand, but even if you're not going to use much, i would at least run it once or twice a month! Cause it'll fail ya ( learned from experience) when you need it most 😁 I also turn the gas off at the tank, and carb, and just let her die out on her own.

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

They use Honda clone engines, I've heard they're good for the dollar.

I learned that the hard way as well. I cut grass commercially for a while so I do the same thing as far as running equipment and running them out of fuel. That’s kinda the reason I hate to spend Honda money on something I’m not going to use that often. Even with a Honda engine if you don’t do your part it’ll lay down on you. I’d rather have a $700 generator lay down vs a $3500 one

Thanks for the input.

I’ve done good with the Predator brand from harbor freight.

. Good points for sure!!!!!

Always good to run the gas all the way out of it.

I always drain the tank for storage. Pour a gallon of gas in and let it run under a load till it quits twice a year.
