X3. For whatever reason, I bought a pack of Nocturnals to try this year. They flew all over the place with broad heads the first shot off the string. If I shot them with the light turned on, they shot pretty good. I quickly went back to my Ignitors.

I went to buy some today, and apparently everyone is sold out of the .204 ID ones I need. They must be good.

I also shoot Nockturnals, but would be open to change. Be nice to find something a little easier to turn off without having to get out your pocket knife or something.

Shaw recommended these to me a couple years ago and they have done great. Easy to turn off.

According to the instructions, you have to glue them in?

You can push the nock insert through a Walmart bag when installing them and they will hold. I glued my inserts in.

I used thin sandwich bag on my first set, however you can’t get insert back afterwards if you need to remove it. I’ve glued since then. Easy to reheat and remove.

I’m shooting a crossbow and today I put my Knockturnals on and I was shooting about 3 inches low. Is that normal? I didn’t thank the weight would make that much of a difference.

There’s a where noticeable drop with arrow weight would come into play but I don’t think 10-12gr will do that. I added 30gr to an arrow for my 62# bow and was dead on at 60yds yesterday

That’s what I used and may as well glued the inserts in. I used vise crips to remove it lol.
