Rural king has a 5 gallon red can called a UJug, It's not an official gas can but looks like one. Has spout and a vent without all the fancy contraptions. I've got mad and thrown a few of the new fangled ones away. I can't tell you how excited I was to find it. I feel Like Im beating the man.

I use mine to store my refined recycled dinosaur liquids. They are good cans.

If one cant manage a can like that mother nature needs to take you out of this world. I'm not a fan of climbimg up on my tractor and holding a button and the can while gases drizzles out. It's a larger tractor with a loader. I can just turn it up and walk away. Sorry it offends you. Thats your problem not mine. We are the country of the offended aren't we.

I cant work that nozzle for the life of me and threw a whole 2 gallon can full of gas on the ground due to the cotton pickin thing making me mad. Yes I lost my religion too when gas splashed all over me.

I was referencing to the old cans and if one cant manage a simple spout and a lift up vent, one may not be able to make it in this cruel world.

I've installed a tire valve stem in those environmental idiot cans. Just remove the cap and you have an air vent.

I actually don’t understand what was wrong with the old cans. Why did they ban them? I mean it’s (was) a plastic can that holds and dispenses gas. What possible benefit was added by these new nozzles and lack of vent. Money. Regulations, money, EPA geeks justifying their useless jobs, money. The green movement is appropriately named because it's the color of money.

I bought a bag of them yellow vents that are in the old cans. I just drill a hole in the new can and push the vent in. Then buy me one of those nozzles. Good as an old can. Same here. Converted a big chunk of family members cans over time. If possible I just gut the original nozzle of it's springs and/or gizmos and make it perform like it should. I've clamped a fuel hose to a couple to get a flexible spout.

I have 3 of the older style blitz Jugs they are great and work great, not sure why the geniuses tried to “make them safe” seems they did the opposite.
