If you're down at the Florabama on Saturday night, you'll see a lot of cougars.

There’s gonna be a high percentage of bitter, pre-culled Wompapottamus’ in that same crowd. Proceed with extreme caution, they’re are extremely dangerous in their native environment and habitat.

confirmations

The cougar network seemed like a bigger deal about 10 years ago when they were less common in the midwest. Seems like they are finding suitable habitat before they get all the way to Alabama and I'm sure the Mississippi does provide some barrier. No telling what another couple decades will bring.

Once cougars start making their way into the state you'll know with all the money you guys have invested in game cams.

I actually have two trail cam pic of a mom and a pup I’ve shown a few in my camp. I’ve been advised not to ever release them. Not sure why

You have them in a cage? Did they cost so much money the camp doesn't want them release? Why do you have trail cams on cats in a cage? So many questions

I seen a panther in the Tombigbee (sp) river bottoms 2 years ago. Bout 1/2 mile from forkland park boat ramp. Maybe 60 yards from me, so there is no denying Alabama has Panthers....

Buddy of mine swore up and down he saw a black panther with a 3 foot tail on the prowl creeping down low.

A week later I saw it on the side of the road hit by a car. It was the biggest black river otter I ever saw. I could see how it would have fooled him.

I saw a brown one like that on our place in TN 3 years ago. TWRA has pics of one in adjoining county west and adjoining county north of us. I'm reasonably certain I saw that same cat.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Damn! He was a wild one, old Hatchet Jack.
He was livin' two year in a cave up on the Musselshell with a female panther.
She never did get used to him.
