Might give that one a try. Recently bought Four Roses single barrel to try. It's good stuff, very smooth.

I have a friend that has royally screwed me over. He gave me a little of Eagle Rare the other night and MAN it was good. I do not drink liquor at all, but this makes me want to keep a bottle around, if I can find it.

Why do you say that? Is Jim Beam owned by a Chinese entity?

EDIT: I googled and it seems to be owned by a Japanese firm. So, why do you say communist?

Hey, once the original sells out, I’m usually off it regardless of the product

I agree Four Roses is in my Top 5. Treat yourself to Russell Reserve sometime as well.
Jim Beam Black is my everyday need a taste bourbon, and I agree that a ice ball or some ice changes the flavor throughout the drink.
I like it cooled anyway, but a little ice lets me taste the flavors instead of feeling the heat.

Man, I'm ready to go home and fix three fingers of something and turn on the Hunting Channel.
Its 5 o'clock somewhere I know. LOL

Out back, I had some homemade that came from across the river from you in Weogufka. It was pretty good and you could use it to get drunk, run your car, or strip paint.

Yeah... What you said... grin

Seriously... That's actually a pretty good description. I had about 3 glasses of it last night and felt pretty relaxed.

That's good info right there. That'll keep me from wasting money on it. I hate butterscotch.

I’ll try and find some. I picked up some Clyde mays last week just to have. Haven’t tried it yet. It’s to damn hot for dark liquor and I haven’t felt the best in the world either.

Yeah. I bought our outdoor "tub" there. It was a 48x24 livestock tank. They all seem like nice helpful folks.

Picked up a bottle and should have bought the second one. Poured a shot and nipped it for a taste. I have not had it over ice yet. It will make a nice addition to the rotation when it gets cooler out. Served over ice with a cherry and cinnamon stick would be great .

If you have to doctor or garnish the whiskey, you are behind the good whiskey curve.
