Are these the baddest non-TSS, 2 3/4" factory loads and would they be good Turkey killers? 1 3/4oz of nickle plated lead 5s going 1485 fps. https://fiocchiusa.com/12gpx5.html

Though I have no first hand experience with either, I'd venture to write the Mini Twister 12ga 2-3/4" 1-5/8oz by FoxTrotAmmo would be better at killing a turkey.
Therefore, making it "badder" than the Fiocchi.

Would depend on how they pattern up to your range limit, I would imagine.
My dad was from the pre-HTL era and had no trouble killing turkeys with the different brands of 12 ga 2 3/4" and then 3" #6 shot. He wasn't much on patterning a gun (the old coke can on a stick at 25 steps was the extent of patterning for him), but I don't know that he ever shot at one much past 25 yds either.

Just wondered. I used the 6s on a Pheasant hunt a couple years ago , they are 1 3/8 oz. They preformed great. The 5s are 1 3/4oz at 1485 fps. If they are as advertised they must be about the "stoutest" 2 3/4", non TSS load out there.

If they pattern well, they should do good. I like em out of my 20's, but I don't think pheasants are that tough to bring down.

I figured if a feller had a 2 3/4" gun he wanted to kill one with but didn't want to send TSS down the pipe they might be a good choice.

Can't add to the question but a pheasant hunt is on my to do list....i did see one years back that I think escaped from a preserve close by...that owner is a member here so he can correct me if I'm wrong..but i did see it regardless
