I have a small site on my place we have been digging on a couple of years on and off.My cuzzin has found a case of mostly brokes but the really good ones are eluding us so far.

[Linked Image]

I have dug a couple times this summer with not a whole lot of luck, but found a few.

I thought I found the nipple of a boob effigy and then someone told me it was just a pot base, darn.

Of course I cant find the pic of the best point I have found out there, a nice Pickwick made out of a flake.

The above is what I find. This is the one I am looking for though. Recent find from my area.

If that’s Bens point(which I’m sure it is) it is most definitely 1000% real

I would have to look at that Turkey Tail close to be sure but from the pics it looks good. Pictures on the internet do not show the details that you need to look for.

Mister, I may be ignorant, but I’ve knapped hundreds of points, and that root beer looks fresh to me. Like Skinny said, it may be a real Fulton, but don’t look like it in the picture. Nice artifact collection.

It looks to me to have a patina and no obvious hinges so I won't call it a repo without a better examination. At the same time though I wouldn't spend my money on buying it if I were a buying collector without a close examination. Too many good fakes out there these days to collect anything but personal finds.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Wish I had all the ones I found and threw away when I was a kid. Use to find a pocket full fairly regular.

One thing that always amazes me on here is how quickly folks render opinions on things they don’t have a clue about. What the hell does knapping hundreds of points have to do with reality lol How many real G-10’s have you actually held in your hand. How many hours a year do you put in a hole or the bottom of a creek? My guess is not many. That guy has probably found 100’s if not 1000’s of real artifacts.Same bunch of yahoos who start screaming high fence anytime someone shoots a bigger deer than theirs.

Easy lil buddy. I said you had a nice collection, and I won’t judge you for hunting in a high fence if you want smile
