I now have the 2075 RAMI properly broken in with 230 rounds down the tube. It spit out it's front night sight dot out at around 130 or so and was hitting three inches to the left. The sights were bad out of center.

Things I have done: replaced the original sights with a set of meprolights and centered them up, replaced the safety lever with a wider one I can actually feel, polished the feed ramp and put some cocobolo grips on her.

Things I am going to do: replace the firing pin retention pin with a solid one from cajun gun works (I have it, just being lazy), mod the magazine release so it only opens to full as mine opens too far and binds when pushed hard all the way in and mod the takedown/slide release lever to not be so tight as it has to be pushed out with a magazine corner and pried from the frame. Also waiting for my bud to get some free time to cerakote.

Suggestions for DIY? Please remember I am cheap and won't spend big money on anything. grin

Thanks. Haven't decided yet, open to suggestions on that as well. grin

Removed the magazine release spring and put a kink in one leg this evening. Mags now drop free like they should. That dude was a booger to get back together. I can't for the life of me figure out why they didn't use a screw like the 75 and 75b. That pin, spring and captured washer idea was awful. Need three hands to get it in there right.

Lime green with Robin's egg blue would be eyecatching. I've tried the Rami just shoot the full-size better.

Only hits count.

We could put the purple with some yellow or gold and we might have something.

It's my edc when social unrest is a possibility. That chunky girl fits in my pocket (barely). A couple of 19 round back up mags in the other pocket and we have balance.

Looks good, as is, and if it isn’t a showy piece why crayon it? Amazing what Cocobolo color does to an otherwise unnoticeable.

Agreed.

Here's my normal carry. It's about as pretty a thing as I have ever seen and it actually came that way. All I added were the grips.

Shot her today at my buddy's place in Winfield. The sights are almost there. He was printing one hole groups of twenty at 21' dead center, I was printing 1/2" groups 3/8" to the left at the same. His daddy was a Marine aviator and taught them to shoot well. She likes winchester white box 115 way more than fiocchi 9mm nato.

He's a Navy welder/diver on full medical. He looks at everything through the lens of "how can I fix it?". I look at everything through the lens of "how can I break it?" LOL. I might have done a little diving for them but it would have been demolition if I did.

Touched up the marred up spot with a black permanent marker - she's perfect again.

I have a Beretta cx4 storm carbine that uses m9/92f magazines. In stealing some hst federals out of the 15 loaded mags I have for it, I noticed they fit right in the cz perfectly. The notch is an inch or more too low of course. Going to dremel one out and see how it works. The CZ magazines are hideously expensive. May have found a cheaper alternative.

Wellllll....you could start by timing the dang catawampus screws on those grips. They kinda stand out with the cocobolo wood. grin

Hey you said you didn't want to spend money.

Okay - installed the mcarbo (military carbine brotherhood) spring set and a cajun gun works solid firing pin retaining pin. With 30 dollars in springs and 4 dollars in a pin, she's now good for 10k rounds or more.

The trigger weight dropped from 10.2 pounds to 4.9 pounds on the double action pull and from 5.2 pounds to 2.5 pounds on the single action pull. Still has a bit of creep that we'll work out in the future. Unbelievable trigger on her now for an hour of time and 34 dollars invested.

Had to grind the point off a screwdriver to make a 3/32 pin punch and used a drill bit and some tape for a 1/16 pin pusher because I have misplaced my punch set. I really need to clean up my garages as we've consolidated three households since we came here a few years ago and I have crap laying and boxed up randomly just everywhere. The firing pin retaining pin really did not want to come out after only 340+/- rounds. It had a pretty pronounced chunk mashed out of the middle, probably 1/8 of the way through the pin already. That is a factory defect but it's only 4 dollars to fix forever and takes about ten minutes to get out and back in.

I love this thing more and more every day. Looking forward to shooting her again but in no real hurry.
