We’ll be praying for these folks immediately.
We lost our only child last year (he was 16 as well)...and it’s every good parent’s worst nightmare.
If you could, please get their address and send it to me via text, call, or private message. I’d like to at the very least send them a card of condolences. In my opinion, It’s a grief you can’t understand unless you’ve experienced it. Sadly, I can say from experience...cards, texts, emails, etc...help you make to not only the next day, but sometimes it’s tough to even make it to the next minute after this happens.
from people that have experienced similar heartache help more than I ever would have imagined...sometimes even more from a total stranger that reaches out knowing what they’re going through.

Our son Elijah was a student at Oak Grove, and he died last October.
If they would care to touch base with myself and/or my wife, we absolutely would make ourselves available in any way we can help. Talking to folks that had lost a child, helped us very very much.
It’s a group you would NEVER want to be a member of, but speaking with other folks that have experienced this horrible tragedy helped us and continues to help us more than we can say in words.
