I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

One of my daughters was a missionary in Beirut for almost 3 years. Most people don't know that Beirut had the largest Christian population of any country in the Middle East, and parts of it were much like an American city. I attended a couple of services at a Baptist church that was little different than a service in Alabama, except someone had to translate for us. My daughter worked some at a Baptist school that had a very positive influence on the city.

There are certainly some terrorists in Beirut, but there are also some really good people. My prayers go out to them.

I know a good number of Lebanese people. They are all Christian. The ones I’ve known well have always maintained most Lebanese are Christian, they hate being confused with Palestinians. If that is true or not, I have no idea.

Trump says intelligence reports it was a missile attack and that agrees with reports on the ground on site

In other words they were making something in there that they should not have been and the Israelis or someone else didn't like it. It was pretty precise so it was a targeted strike from a entity with capability to do so..

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

My thoughts exactly
This strike had to come from a very high altitude (an aircraft was reportedly heard) and dropped a massive payload

Here is what the media is going to tell you... all just nice people over there in Beirut. You should feel so sorry for them.

Yea, 100% BS.

I got one word for you. Hezbollah. Hezbollah hides a vast arsenal of weapons all over not only Beirut but the rest of the country. That's what's really going on in Lebanon. In civilian areas mainly. And it is a KNOWN FACT that Iran is bringing them into the region via the Port of Beirut.

The same port of Beirut and docks where there also happened to be a large cache of fertilizer that, for whatever reason despite it's economic value, was just left in this warehouse.

Bull Hockey. These people are up to no good. Nobody was making bombs with the fertilizer. Nobody had any munitions in the warehouse just some common fireworks. There is nothing to see here Sheeple, Please get back in line over here to your right....

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Goatkiller is correct.

In a former lifetime, Lebanon was a niceish mix for that region with more Christians than any other nation (still around 40 percent but they are not in charge). Not anymore, the non-muslims are still there but Hezbollah and by proxy, Iran, basically rule the place. The Lebanese government is so weak they can't keep them from it so they just moved in and took over whatever they felt like.

About half the population just keeps their heads down and tries to get by.

Most people feel that the city is cursed.

my question to those alot smarter than me is the before and after photos show a big hole in the ground where that building was sitting. Wouldnt it have to be a bomb from above to cause that hole? An explosion from something just sitting on the ground would it not take out all the things around it but leave the ground pretty much undisturbed? I know nothing about explosives other than i dont need to be in control of any of it, before everyone start saying thats a stupid question, iam just asking

Lebanon used to be quite a cosmopolitan place. After WWII Beirut was known as the Paris of the Middle East and was a major tourist destination. Yet, just like Venezuela, look how far they have fallen....

This is a pretty nicely done video...

It kind of makes you wonder if in the not to distant future if people will be writing stories about how the United States used to be a wonderful country and a beacon of hope in the free world...

I'm of the same opinion. I don't think that crater would have been made by AN going off, but I'm not an explosive expert. Just going by what I've seen on the tv after we sent a bunker buster in on some terrorists and the crater it created.

Serious question...........there are literally dozens upon dozens of videos from virtually ever angle, some close up, some far off, and some in between. If it were a missile or bomb strike, wouldn't one of the cameras have caught it? I've only seen one video claiming to show a missile strike - one that was supposedly infrared or similar - and it appeared to be HEAVILY doctored (really just outright faked). If the missile was half the size of the one in that video, it seems it would've been caught on camera.

I don't know? Seems i remember them reporting a large crater at the okc federal building mcvey bombed...but looking at pics of it, really don't show one? Also remember the bombing that was featured in zero dark thirty, also a truck bomb, about there being a large crater.
I'm still trying to figure out how those 2 tankers are still afloat...
