I went in Dollar Gen in Scant City, Ala., last night. Forgot the mask at home. Told the girl working “I’m very sorry. I totally forgot my mask at home.” She said “I don’t care.” And she helped me find my meds. I said “I bet you’re real purty under that mask, sweet thang.”

Why not just put a mask on for one minute while you are ordering? Then take it off when you get to your table. I am just curious as to the reasoning. Because I don't want to help foster the notion that this is the deadly, killer virus the media and government says it is and that mask are out only hope of defeating the virus. Is that a good enough reason? As long as we're playing the "why not just do what they ask", game , why not just take the word of the government health gurus that swear hydrocloroquine is deadly and doesn't help against covid-19? I mean, why not just go along to get along?

Walked in a gas station today with double glass doors and a sign posted on a each door “mask required” to enter. I hesitated at the door cause I’d paid at the pump and was just going in to take a leak, but decided the worse that could happen is they tell me to leave. Open the door and walk on in and the only people in sight are 3 employees and not a mask in sight, not even one dangling from the neck. I just smiled and walked on towards the restroom. It’s the little things that I appreciate now.
Side note- The oldest employee was having a gripe session on the phone with someone about their bank telling them they were out of quarters.

Why not just put a mask on for one minute while you are ordering? Then take it off when you get to your table. I am just curious as to the reasoning. Simple answer. I did not have one. Plus the other people I could see sitting inside at the tables did not have any mask on so I just went on in. I never looked for signs or anything else. None of the other places in my area even have employees that wear them. We were not going to sit down and eat just run in get one and go to the truck. Figure doing that I am less likely to catch or spread any virus than the people inside eating with no mask on. Plus we are social distancing with plexi glass and all everywhere and the mandate says wear a mask when within 6 feet of people who are not family members.

I don’t understand the hate for the business owner who has no option but to require mask if they want to remain open. I dont hate the business owner. I explained to the kids they were doing what was best for their business. However I have been to 6 other businesses today and have not seen a mask so I do not see any risk of anyone being closed down. I just think its dumb to allow dine in in any restaurant if there is a mask mandate which completely contradicts itself.

I don’t understand the hate for the business owner who has no option but to require mask if they want to remain open. Will a business be "shut down" for serving someone without a mask?? I see folks in Publix all of the time without masks. Ive yet to see them closed due to an ordinance enforcement violation. It's NOT the business owners job for enforcement.

The only people you are hurting by your chosen form of protest is the small business and your own community. The people who made the rule couldn’t care less if you refuse to shop because of a mask rule. They would be just as happy for you to shop at the government store when the small businesses close.
Are your employees wearing masks? My employees do on occasion, though we are not required to because of the physical nature and the inability to breath makes a dangerous situation with the heat. Some guys choose to some guys dont some customers choose to others dont.
