We are aware of instructor's comments on social media. While Auburn is fully committed to academic freedom and the fundamental right of free speech, we do not support words or actions that degrade, disrespect or exclude. His comments are antithetical to Auburn values and are not made on behalf of the university. We note that he clearly states his opinions are his own.

At this time, university officials are reviewing the situation and carefully considering the options we have available. We don’t yet know next steps, but rest assured it has our utmost attention.

Then I sent her this reply:

Thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately in this day and time, The first amendment of the constitution only applies to liberals. They are the ones spewing all the racism and hate. I am neither racist or filled with hate. I am a conservative and fully support our law enforcement officers all across this nation. There are bad ones, but there are many more good ones. If I voice my opinion I am labelled as a racist and hate monger. I'm tired of being the "silent" majority.

This is old news. Auburn is a progressive liberal college now and actually has been for awhile. It’s long gone from its roots as a agricultural conservative college. AND why does this suppose you?
