I'd be curious to know what y'all's internet speeds are, and what you pay for internet service......We have AT&T and pay like $60/month. I've been checking speeds periodically on speedtest.net and on AT&T's website. The best I've gotten is 29mbps Download and 2.1 mbps Upload..........the average tends to only be around 4-5mbps Download and 0.2 Upload....that is garbage.

I just checked mine with Speakeasy and it was 45.84 down and 28.13 up. I'm on a T-mobile LTE cellular plan. It is unlimited and unthrottled. When I'm on my Firestick and on 5ghz I've got as much as 68 down. The 5ghz is much better for streaming.
Edit Sorry I forgot to put a price. We are way out in a rural area with no cable or internet sources. My neighbor is a ham operator and an I T guy. He has a 190 foot tower so we both have radios/routers up about 160 feet to get to a T-mobil tower about 15 miles away. We had to purchase our radios and all the switches, cables, lightning arresters, etc. to get upa nd running. We were paying $100 a month but found a new plan for $79.95 so that saves a few bucks.
I run 100+MBS dn normally with 10-12up....I've run higher an lower on spectrum..bout $70/month. I would have single gig if farmers telecom would get their crap together. I also have a pretty dang good router as I liked to play the PlayStation...I'm not hardcore on gamin like was when I was a little younger...but I still play a few nights a week and crappy internet is garbage....plus my TV apps run lickity quick as well. If you got somebody offering single gig near you..get it if you can..my buddy has it and it is unreal how fast his stuff is....makes my connection look like dial up

Mine is back to "normal" after being almost unusable for the last hour................."normal" being 27 down; 2 up.......................I still feel like that's hot garbage. AT&T just checked (via live chat) and said they've identified something wrong with our router, sending us a new one that should be here tomorrow. We'll see...

Mine is 9.79 and 2.03 otelco around $100 a month, its garbage and slow and goes out all the time, fox6 out of birmingham showed it as the 3rd slowest in the united states, its all i can get right here at the house
I just aksed him what he's running...it's a claimed single gig but he's actually running around 750-850dn an 200+ up...now that's fast an he pays $93/month..he's the party leader most of the time on cod cause he loads in so much faster than the rest of us do...I'd say...a good 8-10 seconds faster maybe more.

Run an Ethernet cable to all consoles that can use it. You won’t have to worry about bandwidth being taken by other devices.
We get unlimited data and television from X-finity. I think our plan is extreme pro which is supposed to get us something like 600Mbps down and around 15Mbps up. We pay around $200 a month which might seem high but by switching to unlimited and swapping over from Direct TV we saved around $100 not to mention the data overage fees we now avoid.
Here in South Florida we have Comcast for cable, telephone and internet. On my grandsons school computer with an Ethernet cable we have had speeds as high as 300 mbps but usually average about 250. On a Samsung tablet with WiFi speeds are about 150.
