Patients who have tested positive are retested daily until they test neg, at out local hospital. THIS is the info that I was hoping to find. Now, is each new positive reported as a bonafide new case? Or is it reported as an ongoing positive condition of an existing patient?
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Unfortunately, because the hospital receives government payment for patients testing positive for Covid, there's not a lot of incentive to retest very often. I've heard that some hospitals only do a retest after about 14 days.

Hoping that I read the graphs right and please correct me if I'm wrong in my math........So, based on the graphs posted by wmd, we can assume that 59,000 people are hospitalized with Covid symptoms. For the sake of bring on the low side lets say that 60% (35,400) are retested every other day for 10 days and test positive. That's 5 new positive test per patient every 10 days. That's 35,400 new positive cases every other day (per 5 days) = 177,000 new positive cases every 5 days that are actually just retests of existing patients. And this compounds over time. How are we supposed to trust ANYBODY putting numbers out?
I am NOT wearing a damn mask. End of discussion. AND this vaccine deal the guvment struck today is aimed at MANDATORY vaccinations. Not while me or anybody in my family is still breathing!
