When I go to the liquor store I usually buy one of my old standards or one of my new favorites and I also usually pick up something new and different to try. This last trip was no different. I saw this Old Tub bottled by James B. Beam. It is Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, unfiltered, bottled in bond, 100 proof, pre-prohibition style, they took it straight out of the barrel and only screened it to get the bits of wood out and it is damn delicious. I just had my first taste of it a few minutes ago. Buy some and thank me later... Remember when I turned y'all on to John Emerald Alabama Whiskey? Same deal here. Good stuff, I just hope it don't get as high as W.L. Weller.

Can’t have too much ice for good sipping bourbon on a hot evening. Let it simmer.

I don’t drink communist or Chinese whiskey. Why do you say that? Is Jim Beam owned by a Chinese entity? EDIT: I googled and it seems to be owned by a Japanese firm. So, why do you say communist?
