New Alabama hunting season dates are out, if you dig for them in the outdoor app. Few changes to bow season around my area. It’s getting a little complicated, but bow hunters got their full month back.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

Woohoo - I can still kill 82 does with a rifle in Zone B. Right on!! I’ll probably need to see more than 7 total all year to make it happen, you reckon?? Pro tip: run in some different hunting spots next year

Bow season start date for Zone C is wrong. Think they omitted bucks only starting oct 15.

Paging Matt Brock. Is this leaked info..........by mistake? Not leaked, just contains an error of omission.

I hunt whenever I want, however I want, and I dare chucky to catch me. I figure, if the dcnr can make up whatever rules they desire, with no biological input, then I can certainly do the same.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Bow season start date for Zone C is wrong. Think they omitted bucks only starting oct 15. I saw they omitted bucks only bow season in Zone A too. is that correct? Dr.B

Better make sure that’s an official document from the department or some crap because I got talked about because I posted the turkey season dates before the MAN saw it so I was supposedly wrong

Zone B is showing both bucks only for the first 10 days of bow season, then also either sex for those same days.
They better go back to the drawing board on that one.

Our management plan will let us choose either sex.

This is a fine example of how Chuck runs things in Montgomery. If they can't even publish season dates in a correct and sensible manner how can we expect them to make any biological sense either? It changes every year. I guess the deer must also change every year. "Whupps, it looks like the deer in district IV have changed again this year". Something major has changed most years as far as seasons or limits since about 1999. I'm not sure before that. When are they going to figure it out and settle on dates and limits that will work? It's kinda like, "Hey, we haven't tried this yet. Let's try it and see". But they say that every year. I have a lot of respect for our Conservation officers and the biologist that work with them, but the leadership in the Gump sux.
You remember last year it was supposedly legal to kill spotted fawns.

ZONE B
BOW AND ARROW – STALK HUNTING:

Chucky has some 'splaining to do!!
Sure is looking like the 20 volume set of Encyclopedia Britannica rules and regulations are getting a great start with all the fine micromanaging being Mandated at the State! Good job guys, make it as cumbersome as possible!! You might want to get your rules and regulations proof read before you try anymore mandating!!
