I’ve never smoked dope or done illegal drugs of any kind. Never have drank just to get drunk. It’s just the way I’m built. What others do in their own home is no business of mine as long as it doesn’t carry over to the next day in public and possibly puts my family, mine or others lives in danger then we’ve got a problem. I look at it this way. As a father, grandfather, husband and friend to many I’m always on call. I can’t be my best when my head isn’t clear.

Yup they did, and Yup He did. I"ll add that He also drank wine and probably drank it all of the time. I mean some called Him a winebibber and a glutton (Matthew 11:19) Personally I don't believe drinking some alcohol is a bad thing. I also don't feel using weed for medical reasons is a bad thing. I do however feel that many try to justify it's over usage for various reasons or another. I subscribe to the great Apostle Paul's thought "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things things are lawful for me, but I won't be brought under the power of any" (1st Corth 6:12 NKJ)

The one time I can remember the best, I think must have been laced, maybe not, I was a newbie. When I first started smoking weed regulsrly I got really high on it. I can remember several times smoking a small joint after work(10:30pm) and I still had a really good buzz when I went back to work the next day(2:30pm) and thats after a good nights sleep. I was 18yo and had smoked a little now and then. I realize everybody dont have that experience. It didnt last long either, maybe a couple weeks. For that couple weeks, I would have surely been a danger if I had been out driving around like that. Could have easily been taken advantage of as well.

I would guess someone who says they hallucinated smoking Pot got something more than Pot in what they were smoking.Cause no matter how good it is or how much you smoke it ain't gonna happen.Unlike alchohol there is a threshold where your thc receptors get full and at that point you can go full cheech and chong and you wont get one bit more high.If so the 29.2% straight Indica my buddy enjoys would most certainly have him seeing those pink elephants.

I can understand why someone would be concerned about such….I mean you can’t evem turn on the news anymore without hearing about another tragedy occurring directly associated with out of control weed use. It was just night I heard about three old ladies who were attacked on their way to church by a band of pot smoking vigilantes that are really slowly roaming the Midwest……robbing, pillaging and, plundering the countryside in a desperate attempt to stockpile Yoo-Hoos and Krispy Kreme doughnuts….Who knows what folks stoned out of their mind like this are capable of doing.

You are comparing a rookie to a professional. Your buddy has been smoking a while right? Different people respond to different stimuli in different ways. Some people dont hallucinate on acid, some dont hallucinate from sleep deprivation, others wig balls every time. Every hallucination dont include pink elephants either. Hallucinations are not always visual. Sometimes theyre completely without visual effects, but the sense of reality is definately warped. Long term meth users often suffer from hallucinations, but they are seldom visual. Usually its just believing something is going on that just really aint happening. They are far more dangerous than visual hallucinations. If you see a pink elephant, thats all fun and games, we all know theres no pink elephants. If you do a little dope and it throws you in a state of psychosis, now suddenly the cops are after you and your wife is sleeping with your best friend, that person can definately be a danger to society. I can introduce you to a person who will get that way if he smokes a little pot, so it does happen.

You are wrong. I smoked a joint of some pretty crappy weed with a black woman one night and left soon after. She was cutting my hair. She got so messed up she couldnt finish cutting it, I barely got a buzz. When I went back the next morning to get the rest of my haircut, the front door was wide open and she was in her bed asleep with the broom. She passed out after she got in her bed to hide from the spiders she was trying to sweep out the front door. They overcame her so she ran and got in her bed. That lady would disagree with you.

I know that you are just joking around. Nothing personal here. But I can guarantee you that if any pot head, no matter how harmless they may be or seem to other pot heads, kills anybody in my family from driving a vehicle due to their lack of mental discipline will suffer. Killing innocent people from ones own lack of common sense ain't no joking matter. Stay at home and get high and stay off the road until reality sets in 100%.

JWalker I guess anything is possible and some folks might hallucinate from having a beer or taking two hits off some ditch weed, I don't know, body chemistry is a strange thing. What I do know is after being around it 45 years I have never ever had anyone tell me they hallucinated on weed.Now those little mushrooms that grow in the pastures surrounding Auburn are a whole nother ballgame.

I agree with you that folks shouldn’t be driving while impaired. There are folks out there taking prescription medication that are likely more impaired than many of the folks smoking pot and doing it. I definitely don’t have ab issue with someone who goes through life without ever doing these things….its likely the better path…..however that path does leave someone with very little perspective with which to judge these situations on. Your perception of these peoples’ state of mind is probably very skewed compared to the reality of it. Folks who smoke regularly and aren’t overwhelmed like new and fist time users often get…..if the truth were told…..those folks are probably way better and safer drivers than about 90% of the people on the road these days. There’s actually been some research into this…..The reason why is because those folks are more than likely driving about 10-15 mph under the speed limit and solely focusing on driving. The only really impairment they have is reaction time and its often over compensated for. There’s been more than one stoner look down to see that he’s running 45 on the interstate. Again, I’m not arguing that its ok to drive intoxicated and impaired….I’m just injecting a more realistic viewpoint on it. How many folks have you ever heard of that got in a wreck and killed someone and marijuana fond to be what impaired them. Probably not many if any at all…..You’ll see where drunk drivers do it all the time…..

Im not saying its common. But it happens. If the bible didnt say to be sober over and over again, I might be tempted to smoke a bowl myself now and then for pretty much the same reason CNC is saying he does. Im not down on potheads, half may family smokes the stuff. I got all messed up and it took an act of God almighty to get me clean. Me and him come to an agreement about some things and ill be clean and sober from here on out. Our relationship with God is personal and I cant tell anybody whats right or wrong for them. But being a christian I will always point out what the bible says about a subject. I usually err on the conservative side of things, id rether be safe than sorry.
