The other obvious thing, if UA students are doing this, then I bet every other big college town is doing the same thing.

My wife and I are sitting here having our own Covid 19 party. Fun, fun, fun. I tested positive and she is waiting on most likely the same results. Gonna be a long couple of weeks. At least I have most everything caught up around here. Where did you get it, any idea? I have had several friends lately that have had no mask and been indoors in close proximity with positive covid cases and all of them have tested negative. Hatd to imagine if its so contagious.

So the media finds it necessary to plaster this insanity all over like it's earthshattering news. Kids are being stupid and very irresponsible. Putting it all over the news only gives other young stupid people the same idea and youre going to see a lot more of it now. I wish the media would just pass on these type stories.

The more people get it the sooner there will be herd immunity and the sooner the virus will weaken and then burn itself out.

MY routine has been pretty normal. Basically for the last several weeks about all I do/did was got to work and back. That would include a few stops for fuel and or coffee along the way. I had been fishing a couple times too but had no contact with anyone other than my son on those occasions. I am the guy that was checking temps at work so maybe that's where I got it. My wife had made a few trips to the Gro. store so there's a possibility also.

Title is misleading, article reads students in Tuscaloosa county. Isn't there more than one school in the county? Shelton State Community College and Stillman College

If you don't mind me asking what are/were your symptoms, and how severe were they? How are you holding up? Hope you get well soon.

Saturday, was the day I decided I needed to get tested and was feeling pretty rough. Over the next few days I seemed to be in recovery mode. Now I have the cough but it's not bad at all, nowhere near a constant thing, and that's about it. Other than not being allowed to return to work, I have carried on pretty much normal. I mowed the yard, tilled the garden, etc. I'm in my mid 50's and reasonably healthy so I guess I fall between the young healthy and the old frail. It's not that bad. Not fun, but not that bad.

My son (21 years old) & a coworker ( mid 50s) of mine both have tested positive for COVID-19. Neither feels bad but have almost completely lost smell and taste. My wife tested positive for the Covid almost 5 weeks ago. Had a couple of days were she was real tired and bad headache. Completely fine other than that and she still can’t smell or taste anything.

Just got word that two my in-laws family in Peru died from the COVID. Older mid 60's Native Americans with health problems in a densely populated environment with poor general health care facilities. They were very nice and kind people.
