I have an old Coca Cola vending machine on the back porch that is still going strong. I don't know what year it was made but it's one that you open the door and pull your drink out of it. I'm guessing it's a late 70's model. My brother has one from the 1950's, same way, open the door to get your drink and it's still a great machine. His has the rounded corners all over. Mine is more squared off. We also have an old Chest freezer on the porch from the late 1970's that was bought new by my wife's grandparents. It's full of deer, crappie, stripers and homegrown veggies as we speak. Honorable mention is an old Ford PHILCO refrigerator that one of my good friends had to retire a few years ago. It was one of the old models that was rounded off and actually latched when you close it. He tried to give it to me when he replaced it, and I would have liked to have had it but I didn't want to put enough money in it to get it back up. I kinda wish I had taken it now.

I have a fridge on my back porch that was in the mobile home I bought when I got married in’96 and it runs like a top. On my second expensive fridge in the house that we built in’03.

I have an upright freezer that I got from my grandpa 20 + years ago that he gave me because he didn’t use it.

I have an upright freezer I inherited from my grandmother. Not sure of the year but it looks like something from the 70's.

My GE fridge is 22 years old and still cooling and making ice. Never a problem.

yeah some of the older fridges were made to last 100 years, they use more power but were overbuilt by todays standards.

My old house had a Trane XL1200 A/C unit that was installed in 1986. I sold the house in 2016 still running great and last I talked with buyer about 6 months ago still running. That’s around 34 years...

My garage fridge is a Kenmore we bought new in January 1995, and my chest freezer is a Kenmore I bought in 1993.

Both have been moved to 8 different houses.

I know a large chest freezer that could be over 50 that a few deer in it. Could be over 50yrs old. Will have to check date of mfg when I am back over there. Frig was over 50 when it it was still going, but got replaced. Door had to be open to defrost so often. Had the old metal ice trays with a pull handle that came with it.

My washer and dryer are just over 31 years old and going strong.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Garage fridge came from sears somewhere back in late 60;s to early 70's. Still going strong. Ive replaced at least 3 fridges since 1992. Replaced 2 hi end front loading washers and the puke green one my parents had since the early 70;s is still rocking on. I think they had to replace the timer/selector switch on it back in late 80's.

I have a sears cold spot freezer, made in the late 60s, still going strong. They just don't build them like that anymore.
