I really, really hope that's true. I heard that it wasn't long ago that some of the Atlanta police were disciplined or maybe fired for using a taser on someone because it was considered a deadly weapon. If that's true, the level of hypocrisy is amazing.

This is far from over. They kept talking about a court case where another policeman shot a perp over a taser and was cleared.

If the cops have walked out and off the streets, then ^ is a likely outcome. The inner city folks will burn that place to the ground.

All 6 have walked out...apparently the mayor called for help in the surrounding stations and they told her no...hope this report was true...if so, Love it and screw Atlanta

I retired five years ago after thirty years in Law Enforcement and I have no regrets about leaving. I had a great career and left with no regrets. In this day and time I would discourage any young person from an LE career.

I know go fund me would shut it down. But someone needs to start a fundraising sight to pay the officers for there sick days they take off. I wish I owned a business that needed security officers, I would hire every policeman I could afford right now. You know many have to be looking for work elsewhere. If they go to work and do there job as they are trained, they may very well be the ones in prison with no backup from there local governments.

This is going to get out of hand very quickly.

I'm not sure that's a bad thing anymore if the inner cities get destroyed (with the exception of the small store owners who put their life into a business). Businesses move out, and leave a shitthole even worse. Then when police are defunded,,,,,,,,,the area willbe full of POS to take care of each other. Maybe the dumbassess will start realizing democrat pussies suck at mayors. But maybe not.

A trooper buddy of mine got two different calls from two different LEOs about an hour ago saying 90% of the Atlanta police force turned in their stuff and walked off the job. We'll see in the next day or two what's true or not I guess.
