Well, the black Atlanta DA and his all black staff just announced at their televised presser 11 charges against the officer that shot Brooks in Atlanta over the weekend. You remember, the guy that was passed out drunk in the drive-thru that the police were so nice to during the arrest right up until the point that he attacked the officers, punched one in the face, fought both of them, stole one of the officer's taser, and fired it at him. Yep, I'm sure you remember the model african american citizen that was unjustly attacked by the 2 racist cops for doing nothing at all. They announced the 10 charges, then capped it off with a Murder 1 charge against the officer. Black female mayor (the one that is currently interviewing on national TV to become Biden's VP pick) said last night on national TV that Brooks was unarmed and "murdered" by the cop.

You couldnt pay me to be a cop right now. Poor cop has been found guilty, convicted, and tried without even a trial.

This is an absolute no win situation. Although the officer was "justified" in doing what he did, even if it wasn't totally necessary, he shouldn't be convicted and that's the big problem. If a jury follows the law and acguits him, all hell will break loose and there will be a repeat of the Floyd rioting. If the officer is convicted, it will be against what the law says and the cop will be royally screwed and face misery in prison. He will be a sacrificial lamb. Regardless, this will not end well

DA stepped on it by p0leading his case to the public and over charging. I hope this officer gets freed When you are in pursuit and someone points anything at you, training takes over. Almost every policeman would have dropped him.

The GBI hasn't finished their investigation so how is he charged because the stupid ass DA is trying to appease the mob. First degree murder lmao, he won;t get convicted of manslaughter much less first degree murder. The cop did the right thing and he will be acquitted if he has a half way decent lawyer.
