all that matters right now is that the victim has a chance at survival and needs prayers. Good on the folks that helped him. Lets hope the bad guys get caught and or thrown in the Alabama River. I'll provide some concrete blocks if needed. I'm in. Why the Alabama River? Where they caught him at is just a stone's throw to the Cahaba River. That would be a lot easier.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I always carry, but when in Selma I load the chamber. Why would you not keep one in the chamber?

Cocked, locked, and ready to rock.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

A bit of an update on the victim. He and his wife are missionaries in Asia that were here visiting while they await clearance to go back due to the Corona Virus. He was transferred to UAB to repair an artery so it is true that the two guys that stopped and helped him apply a tourniquet really did save his life.
The suspect is being held on No Bond which a judge can reasonably make an argument to deviate from the Bond Schedule by saying it is for his own protection.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

How is this not a hate crime???? It may be if the police can show it was done because the victim was White through what the offender said or Social media posts. In other words, they have to show the victim was shot because he was White and not just a random act of violence. I have only set foot in the PD one time since I retired but I may have to go visit to see what is going on. Now that the idiot Spencer Collier is gone, I would like to go see some of my old friends.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

To bring this closer to home for us on Aldeer, it happened just up the road from me but was literally right in front of Dallas County's mom and dad's house. What if one of them, as innocent as they can be, happened to be putting something in the mailbox right then?
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I found the Selma police scanner by googling it the other night. I’ve been listening to it every night for the last week on my phone. From my house I can hear shots pop off downtown and even over in Selmont. Within a minute I hear dispatch call to send a car to investigate. I’m getting good with my 10- whatever police codes. I’ll even google earth the location of where they’re called. If it’s a chase I can follow on my maps of where they’re headed. There’s a fight onLaGrange right now but mostly quite. Last Thursday was popping off. High speed chases, foot chases, fires, B&E, shooting, you name it. They were overwhelmed and didn’t have enough man power to send a car to many of the reports.
