I knew better but confirmed it several years ago. I've told the story here a few times so I will not go into details. She stomped me 2 different sessions. The first two I thought she would bluff. The third time she came at me I was begging her not to hit me and that's w ghb on she bluffed. Dang, it took you 3 times to figure her out? Once is enough for me. Last one got me with the poll of her head right in my ribcage about the time I reached down to grab her calfs ear. One lick rolled me over about twice. That little son of a gun didn't get an ear tag. I'm a fast learner. I had never had a cow that didn't bluff me, unless they didn't have another path to go. If they on ln y have one way out I expect it. This one was in a thicket on 40 acres. I walked up down wind and hollered at her. She spun around and made a 30 yard dash. I thought she would bluff. I got sent sky high stomped several times then she let me get up while watching me about 20 yards away. When I got up her she come again. I let a few expletives go and mumbled something about her bluffing. Wrong again. Exact same results. She watched me get up this time and was back in her original spot. She snorted and headed at me again. By that time I was begging her not to hit me. She bluffed on the third time lol. I made it to the truck, drove a mile to my grandparents (all while seeing stars), walked in the door and passed out.
