It seems like a lot of folks weren't worried about the recent meat shortage because they all had cows in the pasture. How are these folks getting the meat?

There was talk about this a couple weeks ago. People were saying processors were booked already into 2021

I’ve butchered a many a cow and hog hanging in a barn. When I was a a kid neighbors came together after the first frost rotating from barn to barn helping each other butcher livestock for the freezer

My buddies back in Texas are holding onto their herd, due to low prices. I was in Star Market Sunday and saw a brisket for $101. Someone making bank.
