Have 1 hen that has been on our property all spring, a friend showed up with her the other day. They have started frequenting one of the newly planted chufa patches daily. No poults in any pic I have of them. Any chance they may still nest?

Definitely a chance they could, not enough info to know.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Yes they will nest all through June and even July. I’ve seen few day old poults on September 1st.

Don’t know about around here, but I read somewhere of a hen sitting on a nest in October up north.

Saw 2 hens in oakmulgee last week on the side of 25 with about 10 poults between them.
