I need a harness. I’m thinking of going the rock climber route.
“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”
On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

I just could not handle them full vest harnesses hanging there in the event of a fall trying to get pressure off.
I use a lower body rock climber harness into the prussic with a belay below it to let myself down. With most of the slack out except what you need to move around I couldn’t fall anyhow. The HSS comes with a strap you clip on the back, step into, to take the pressure off.

I know about relief devices, but my way gets (me) down easier but I still have the physical strength to climb the rope by hand. Pressure really doesn’t bother me in a seat harness. The full harness reminds me of one of those dang cartoon characters hanging from a door or meat hook.
Hey, as long as you use something, that matters most.

Sorry. I see you are in Birmingham. Dont plan to be up there any time soon. So I will pass.
