I'm considering trading my Tacoma for a new 4wd Tundra. I love everything about my Tacoma except for the interior room. It's only got 23k miles and has been great but with 2 young boys, it's just about impossible to use that truck with 2 car seats. Even with my short legs I've got both front seats pushed forward further than I'd like.
Any bad experiences with the new Tundras? I know the other manufacturers might get better MPG but I trust the Tundra platform and the simplicity of it over any of the other brands with 10-speed transmissions and turbos.
Any input would be great, thanks guys as always...

I have a 2014 with 75k. No issues except a shaft seal replacement on the transfer case. Plenty of room for kids

2016 Tundra. I also own an 09 Taco. When I bought the Tundra I was also considering a new Taco. I test drove both and for a little bit more money the choice was obvious.

2017 Tundra Platinum 22,115 miles, just has settled down on fuel mileage to 14.9 per. My fault I had to put a new battery in it already because it DOES draw amps sitting in the garage.

I've got a 2014 with 63,000 miles and the only trouble I have is passing a gas station. It's a great truck and when I get ready to buy again, it will be another Tundra. I considered a Tacoma, but compared to the Tundra, it felt like a toy. Small amount of money for a whole lot more truck. Just get yourself a CyberTruck

My 2015 Tundra Crewmax runs like a champ. Zero regrets buying that truck. Gas mileage sucks, but I’m ok with that cause it’s a truck. If I totaled mine today, I’d go buy another one tomorrow... can’t give a better recommendation than that. Here’s a pic of mine parked at everyone’s favorite breakfast spot! that's the same truck I'm looking at getting. My Tacoma is a silver crew cab with black tube step bars and a black toolbox. Big fan of the silver paint since I live on a dirt road
