Brownings are about all I buy these days. I have found its better to just leave them out year around and don't turn them off. Just change the batteries when necessary. The few that have died have been after turning them off they don't want to come back on.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

Glad yours woke I bought 3 several years ago and were all junk . Turned off and when maybe turn on on occasions but mostly wouldn’t that's interesting. Did you contact them? The one time i needed support they were very accommodating. I've got maybe 8 cameras that vary in age from 1 to 5 years old and i've never had an issue with any of them.

I have 6 browning dark ops cams, only one had major issues and they replaced it. Some of them don’t consistently pick up sound recording in video mode, but that’s not a big deal to me

Bought a Browning factory refurb and had to contact them immediately due to a missing electrical contact tab on battery tray. They sent me a new tray and that is when the on/off problem started. At that point I had lost confidence it would stay "on" in the field and returned it. From what I have read quality control seems to be an issue new or refurb.

So definitely not same quality, reckon that's why they're only backed by a ONE year warranty now.
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
