jbatey1 OP Lucky Bastage J Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 10,416 Scottsboro, Al	Wifes Grandfather had an incident last night, at his house, that's gonna lead me to get him some type of Life Alert type of device. Have any of you got any experience with this or something similar? He's pretty active for his age (mid 80's) and still goes up to the farm by himself doing tractor, backhoe and dozer work. So something that he can keep on him, but not rely on being connected to the house would be ideal. I thought even about getting him an Iphone watch that has cellular capabilities so that he can use it to make a phone call even if his phone isn't on him. I think that's a real thing? Other than that, say a prayer for him. He's at Huntsville Hopsital now. The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

He'd push the button - one on is necklace or another on his wrist - Life Alert would call him, if no answer or an emergency they would call an ambulance or they would call me. Never had a problem, always were great responders, very patient with him and very professional. And they all spoke English.
