It’s the grocery delivery service that Publix offers that we use for Dad in Fultondale. I’ve never personally placed the orders online, but my sister does that for Dad and I pay his bill. There’s an option to tip the shopper/driver, which I’ve always just kept it at 15%. None of us have to fool with going in the store, and the shopper texts with you back and forth in case what you want is not available, or she finds a better deal for you. The shopper/driver keeps 100% of what you tip them, and it’s well worth it for folks like me. All the stuff gets sanitized with alcohol by sis and me on the carport before it comes in the house.
Not for everybody, but it works in my situation. Dad is 92 and somebody is here with him at ALL times.
I think it costs around $10/month unlimited trips OR $100/year.
